La fortuna ; arenal volcano reserve rain forest reserve:
This Wild Life refuge; It is really new ; besides It has been open since just 6 months ; (but nothing is that easy); furthermore; no many people know about It.
This is a group of local families that they got a familly Will but 2 of them; they divide on keeping in a natural way; so thet did not built or sell this; since along time ago exactly this rain forest project has been in a natural conservation since; 1991 but It has not until 1995 a Guy named ; Rolando design and decide to establish some trails on it and 2 bridges. And then in; 1998 the family regrowed hard Woods trees on it. Those were the BEST food for the tropical birds for instancia: toucans and mammals such as: agoutis; and pacas and sloths sometimes howlers monkeys around It.
This how a 2 Big costa Rica families start joinen efforts to proyecto the natural resort and on this year an agroecologist & Conservationist; his name; Luis agreed with Andrés and Solís ; to protect the natural resources and invite others guides and school around.
As every one knows IS very hard yo protect the forest and more the rain forest in the center of la fortuna. Besides the pure oxigen and the water Will be for you and for me and for every one the mainly troubled for the future and some áreas in costa Rica for example in Guanacaste IS currently suffering very bad.
We welcome to visit and join effort to reforestate more and do nota cut hard Woods trees the ones are the House and the food of many animals and birds.
You are completly welcome to come and visit it. And join effort protect the only forest located in la fortuna town.
